Besides his endeavors as a performer, Carlos Pérez is constantly searching for new works to add to his repertoire. He has already crafted the following transcriptions and arrangements:
Soloist Guitar
- Suite Española Opus 47 by Isaac Albéniz
- Keyboard Partita BWV825 by Johann S. Bach
- Chaccona -keyboard- by George F. Händel
- Four Pieces by Louis-Claude Daquin-harpsichord-.
- Variaciones sobre un Villancico Traditional Chileno: for soloist mandolin.
- Traditional Chilean Songs and Dances: this is a collection of 13 chilean melodies with the different typical rythms from the countries's central zone.
These arrangements maintain the rythmic and melodic integrity of the original compositions, while being tinted with subtle counterpoints and slight harmonic variations, wich in no case are intended to overshadow this music's simple charm.
This collection has been published by Editions Henry Lemoine, Paris-France, at September 2001.

- Danza Rusa from Petrushka ballet by Igor Stravinsky
- Diversiones criollas sobre un tema de Vivaldi. Musical joke based on the movemente "Largo" from the Vivaldi's Four Seasons in which the variations take inspiration from diverse latin american dances.

-Three Chilean Pieces for Four Guitars

The Tres Piezas Chilenas (Three Chilean Pieces) are based on old musical forms that belong to the folklore of the central zone of Chile. Though the "refalosa" enjoyed its highest popularity during the 19th century, the two other forms, "entonación" and "cueca" are still widely used.
